Learning about lighting and knowing what settings to use in different types of lighting. Learning about using different types of focus for different situations on A7rii. Learning to configure my camera buttons correctly for portraits, for the most efficient shoot experience. Reducing time in post, in getting everything right in camera.
Through Jason Lanier and his online videos and pictures on Facebook and YouTube
I know about ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed. I know for instance f1.4 is a narrow depth of field leading to a nice bokeh effect and shooting with a wider depth of field say f8 the picture will be sharper overall and everything will be in focus. ISO higher equals grain but can brighten up picture, lower equals no grain but the picture can be darker. Shutter speed higher number for sports. Lower number, for say, stationary objects or long exposure photography and light painting. I would say my current level is around medium. But I have a hard time out in the world in putting all this together to suit the moment.
Lighting and focus.
I'm Mac Choudhry. I'm a big fan of photography. Really want to capture family moments, and perhaps when I get better shoot wedding photos for people. I really love freezing emotional moments in time. I feel the pictures can capture those feelings. :)
