- How Blockchain is Creating a New Paradigm in Digital Security
Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology have put full control of digital money in the hands of individuals. With that power comes the responsibility of securing data so that only a single user can access it. Cryptocurrency companies have stepped up and created the building blocks for this new type of security and as we’ll see, it will disrupt the way we secure data in and outside of the blockchain.
- Forking is Freedom
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have recently experienced a phenomenon called hard forks which have created an entirely new form of economic and monetary competition. We’ll learn about the various types of forks that can occur in crypto currency, the pitfalls and dangers, and how to prepare for them going forward. Most of all, understand the impact of these forks from the viewpoint of economic and monetary competition and freedom.
- Edge: Mobile Wallet and Single-Sign-On Security Platform
Rebranded from Airbitz, Edge is an open source, multicurrency mobile wallet and security platform for blockchain applications. Learn how Edge takes a unique and balanced approach to securing private keys in a way that is familiar, forgiving, yet still very hardened against attack. We’ll show how the Edge SDK can be used in your blockchain application to provide users with a simple, single-signon interface while still retaining full, non-custodial access to cryptocurrency funds.
