Co-working & Coffee at GT-Space MK
If working at home is driving you crazy, there is another option... Come and join us at the GT Space in Central Milton Keynes for a change of scene and conversation with someone other than your pet or plants. GT (or Grant Thornton, for long) is a bright, airy and comfortable workspace with wonderful views and great company. Everyone who comes along leaves feeling more motivated, focused and productive. There is no charge for this meet-up and there will be complimentary coffee, tea and wi-fi. There's loads of space to work from: standing, sitting or lounging, and there are a couple of private cubicles available for meetings as well. You can enjoy the wide-reaching views and chairs outside if the weather is nice, too (we can hope). THIS MEETUP ONLY GOES AHEAD WITH 5 OR MORE ATTENDEES How to get there: The co-working space is inside Victoria House on Avebury Boulevard (300m down Avebury boulevard if you walk from Sainsbury's towards the train station) The co-working space is located on the 4th floor of the building. You can park at Sainsbury's across the street (free for 3 hours) if you can't find a space outside.

What we're about

If you work from home and you're seeing the early signs of madness creeping in, it's time to get out of your PJs, leave the house and meet up with hundreds of fellow-minded WFHers, freelancers and others just like you, For now, our events are held in and around Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury and Buckingham but we're planning on going nationwide in 2018. If anyone wants to host events in their local area, drop Kia a note.

We organise lunches, brunches, Friday Fikas (coffee and cake breaks) and pop-up coworking meetups to give our members a change of scene to work, a place to reconnect with other human beings, and a break to the weekly routine. We meet up in coffee shops, coworking spaces, beer shops, interesting local venues and, if the weather's nice, outside.

Occasionally, we throw in a curveball event like 'stars and sausages', mountain biking, dog walking or lunchtime sports, where very little work gets done but it gets us out of the house to experience something different with some rather lovely people.

New ideas are always welcome - as are co-hosts for the group.

Blow the cobwebs away and join us at our next event where you'll meet other friendly WFHers, including freelancers, business owners, remote working employees, entrepreneurs, creatives and students. You'll be so pleased you did.
