Shortest CSS Fuse
Pranati Vyas

Learning front-end technologies is an uphill task in today's fast changing world, where something new pops up every week. This is a talk (more like a chronicle of my own experience) about how to keep up and stay sane, especially is you are a newbie and CSS sceptic.

Getting excited about CSS Grid
Aaron Vanston - Senior front end developer at Spacely (REA Group)

An introduction and high-level overview of CSS Grid. We take a look at some of the magical concepts of the new Grid spec and apply it to a live example.

CSS Playground
James Formica - Developer at StarRez

We all write CSS for our web applications but most of the time it isn't exactly "fun CSS". You might not learn anything new in this session, but at the very least it should be an entertaining reminder of some of the silly things you can create with the wonders of CSS. In this talk, you can expect to see everything from basic CSS shapes, to ridiculously animated CSS flamingos, cats, turtles and possibly even a sloth
