Introduction to data.table package

Details

The `data.table` package extends R's basic data structure, the data.frame. It features extremely fast operations on fundamental data manipulation and analysis tasks such as subsetting, merging, and 'group by' calculations.

In this talk, Jay Kim will deliver a comprehensive introduction to the data.table package demonstrating its common use cases, powerful syntax and juxtaposition with similar existing packages. Jay Kim is a graduate of Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in finance, with a year of experience using R. He is currently looking to join the industry in a quantitative analytics role.
