• What we'll do
We will cover the following topics in the meetup
- Overview: What is Terraform?
- Basic Terraform commands
- Using S3 to store the Terraform State File
- Terraform workspace for multiple environments
- Completing the AWS VPC
- Terraform Remote State for retrieving meta data from a remote backend
- Terraform Modules and the Terraform Registry
• What to bring
- Attendees should have Terraform installed - https://www.terraform.io/downloads.html
- AWS CLI installed
- Basic understanding of AWS
- AWS Account for spinning up resources (S3, VPC, EC2)
- Git installed. A Github project will be provided, tagged with code progress for each section
• Important to know
