First session: Operationalise your Kubernetes cluster with Azure
Speaker: Bruno Faria (Principal Consultant - Insight)
Azure Kubernetes Service makes it simple to deploy a managed Kubernetes cluster in the cloud by reducing complexity and operational overhead by offloading much of the responsibility to Microsoft Azure. In this session we will demonstrate how to deploy, manage, and operationalise your AKS cluster as well as integrate it with other core services of your Azure environment.
Second session: Just Enough Containers with Azure Container Instances
Speaker: Janaka Rangama (Microsoft MVP - Senior Principal Engineer - Dell)
Azure Container Instances are ideal for scenarios that can operate in isolated containers, including simple applications, task automation, and build jobs. This session will provide how you can deploy applications to ACI and how you can manage and monitor your ACI workloads in Azure. We will further explore how you can provide elastic bursting for your Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with ACIs and event-driven applications with Azure Logic Apps.
