Lighting Talk - Mike Collas (mcollas@aconex.com) - Aconex

Michael Collas has been a software developer at Aconex for over 5 years. He works with application development technologies including Java and Ruby, and enjoys using a range of tools that are useful in a devops environment.

Title: Using Docker in the build chain

Some build tasks involve complicated environments, and Docker enables us to better manage this complexity. In this talk we will demonstrate how we use Docker to help us prepare Ruby applications for deployment by simulating the target environment in a container.

Arjen Schwarz (arjen@arjen.eu, @ArjenSchwarz)

Title: Using Docker for a more flexible Jenkins (or any CI system)

Arjen will be discussing how to use Docker for making your continuous integration or testing environment more flexible. Using Jenkins as an example he will show how you can use different containers in a single project to run simple tasks, but also how to run more complex tests using Docker Compose.
