Title: Docker, Rex-Ray, Mesos and the Open Container Project

Matt Zwolenski (@mattzwol), CTO EMC Australia & NZ

If you want to understand the latest in what is going on in the Docker community then don’t miss this talk.

We will discuss some new open initiatives to enable data persistence and cloud connectivity for Docker, as well as demo tools that help make managing containers easier.

In particular we will focus on project Rexray and integration into the Docker framework, and touch on easier ways for developers to push code to container based clouds.

Title: Running Docker in Production

Gabriel Weyer (@gabrielweyer) - Senior Developer - Readify

Martin Booth (@mbooth9517) - Principle Developer - SEEK

So you've heard of docker before, you think you know why it's useful, you may even have a dancing cat running inside a docker container as an experiment on your home PC.

Now that you've decided it's worth giving this a go, you now need to work out how to get it into production.

How do you configure Jenkins/bamboo/TeamCity to build this thing? What do you use to deploy it? In fact, where do you even deploy it to?

Finally, what are the drawbacks to docker (if any?) and how do you work around some of the gotchas?

If you want to save yourself a load of time getting docker to production then this talk is for you.

***

If you're interested in sharing your story with the group. I'm always on the look at for people to share their Docker experiences. NooBs are most welcome ;)

NOTE - we will likely need to cap the numbers due to demand, so RSVP as soon as possible.
