Join us for an action packed inclusive session on how the principles of KM can assist Strategic Development, hosting keynote speaker Dr. Andreas Brandner based in Vienna, Austria.
This session will be conducted on Zoom as a facilitated conversation. The activities will revolve around what KM projects would be beneficial to implement in Australia to deliver on some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as follows:
Agenda:
• 6:00 to 6:30 pm - Networking over virtual drinks and nibbles.
• 6:30 to 6:40 pm - Introduction to SDGs, and what is being done elsewhere (10 mins).
• 6:40 to 6:50 pm - Open a conversation about possible SDGs to focus on (10 mins).
• 6:50 to 7:00 pm - Breakout into groups by SDG (to build ideas using CoCreated Projects Doing approach -- 5 minutes to introduce this).
• 7:00 to 7:20 pm - Breakout groups to generate sets of ideas for the selected goals (20 minutes).
• 7:20 to 7:40 - Groups come back to main room and do a three minute pitch of their ideas, and to provide recommendations on what could be done in Australia.
Andreas Brandner is based in Vienna, Austria and is the Managing Director of the Knowledge for Development Partnership "K4DP" (www.k4dp.org); the KM Associates (www.km-a.net); and is CEO of Knowledge City (knowledge.city). He is one of the initiators of the Agenda Knowledge for Development and is chairman of the Board of Directors.
Andreas will introduce the concept of the SDGs, and outline how KM can be linked with the SDGs. Moreover, he will introduce K4DP and its achievements.
