How do we design digital experiences that recognise, respect and include everyone — across gender, ability and identity?
In our June edition of the Melbourne Web Accessibility & Inclusive Design Meetup, we’ll hear from two speakers working at the edges of digital inclusion.
Our Speakers:
Kelly Schulz (Founder, Knowable.Me)
'Preliminary Accessibility Research Insights on Multifactor Authentication'
Kelly will share early findings from research into the accessibility of multifactor authentication, highlighting where current practices fall short and what inclusive alternatives might look like.
Nathan Ortiz (DevOps Engineer, Red Door Interactive)
'Designing Inclusive Digital Experiences for Gender-Diverse and Intersex Communities'
Nathan will explore how we can design more inclusive digital experiences for gender-diverse and intersex communities, challenging assumptions baked into mainstream UX patterns.
Join us for these thoughtful presentations followed by community Q&A as we consider how to reimagine access not just as a feature, but as a human right!
