Ive used many cross platform mobile languages over the years but nothing with the speed and ease of googles new flutter.io. Powered by DARTlang it enables iOS and android mobile apps to be built and deployed faster than you can update Android Studio.

From the most basic to the most complex application flutter not only has you covered on the build side but also the deployment side with apps using a minimal footprint but allowing for a very slick and professional user experience.

In this talk i will walk through the platform and look comparisons between react-native vs flutter showing how you can do more with less code inside the flutter platform. Ill also be looking at how to build and deploy custom built modules quickly and easily.

Joey Li: Uncovering Security Issues of Android Apps through Static Code Analysis

In this talk, I will introduce the challenges faced by static code analysis approaches for analysing Android apps, which were summarised during a systematic literature review (SLR), and the solutions for addressing some of the highlighted challenges. More specifically, among several challenges addressed, I will focus on the solutions designed for tackling the inter-component communication (ICC) and Reflection challenges. At the end of this talk, I will also share some insights observed via a thorough dissection of piggybacked apps (whose malicious payloads are easily identifiable), in an attempt to understand how Android malware is actually built.
