This is a meetup for people on a of mental health concerns like myself. For people who know each day isn't predictable but it can be manageable. I would like to offer a safe space to speak about mental health and give the opportunity for a non-judgemental atmosphere where you can truely and freely be yourselves.
Meet up with others who want to make positive change in their lives and are happy to try different techniques to get there. Join with others on a similar journey. Together we can each bring something special to the group, build friendships and support systems.
The meetups will have: A topic of the day where we will have learning, tips and discussions. Something to take away so that you can implement your learnings. Social element to get to know someone new that day. A safe space to gradually work up to feeling comfortable and sharing if you feel to do so. Opportunity to exchange details and network to create a support system for yourself.
'A d;fferent Day's' Mission To help people navigate through the spirals and roller coasters of the Mental Health journey in order to come out the other side a little more positive, level and happy. At A D;fferent Day, I understand that this could potentially be a life-sentence. I would like to work with you to make each moment count and to make those moments a little more manageable.
