February 12, 2019 @ 18:00 Merapar will host its next Meetup about the latest (backend) development for the Internet of Things!

We are very proud to have two presenters from Amazon Web Services (AWS) which will update you on the latest offering for IoT technologies on AWS. They will talk us through the current status of IoT technology and how you can solve real-world problems with services on the AWS platform.

After receiving the AWS updates, Merapar and Quby (the creator of Toon), will share their insights on how they build a super scalable, cost effective solution utilising the latest AWS Technology. We will also end the evening with a little demo to show how fast and easy it is to start using IoT technology today!

The following speakers will present during this event:

Rodrigo Merino Gutierrez - Amazon Web Services - EMEA Partner Solution Architect for IoT
Rodrigo joined AWS as EMEA Partner Solution Architect for IoT. Rodrigo has a rich background in IoT and is responsible to develop the depth and breadth of IoT partners for AWS customers. From chipset OEMs, to connectivity providers, to ISVs, to system integrators, Rodrigo is helping all type of IoT partners to develop EMEA partner’s capability and solutions in the IoT segment.

Brajendra Singh - Amazon Web Service - BeNeLux Partner Solution Architect
Brajendra works for the partner organization within AWS as partner solution architect for the BeNeLux region. He is responsible to ensure partner’s growth on AWS by concentrating on their Value Proposition on AWS & Specialization through several suitable APN Programs, enablement and visibility. He collaborates with the partners to define and execute joint milestones and GTM strategies, which would help the partners enhance their Cloud market share by means of tangible AWS results.

Jurgen Braam - Quby - Software Architect
Jurgen has been a part of Quby since 2005, back when it was still called Home Automation Europe. He has over 10 years of experience in embedded software for a multitude of hardware architectures. He was at the cradle when Toon was born as a key player for aspects like the embedded framework, build environment, middleware applications, GUI, operating system and the software update architecture

Tom de Brouwer - Merapar - Software Architect
Tom has 10 years of experience in product development, in his recent years he worked on professional grade audio over IP products. In 2018 he joined Merapar as software architect, where he is part of the Merapar team which is creating a new connectivity solution based on AWS IoT for Quby, the creator of Toon.
