This is a group of mental health practitioners and physical health professionals, like physical therapists, chiropractors, personal trainers, group fitness instructors, yoga instructors and the like, who meet to discuss the important interactions between the mental health and physical activity worlds. The goal of the group is to find ways for the two industries to collaborate effectively and to develop best practices that lead to overall mental and physical wellness for the individuals that they both serve.
We will host both virtual and in-person opportunities to come together and discuss how to best strengthen collaboration between the mental health and physical health arenas, to better serve those who will benefit the most from it.
Membership in this group requires that you have current training, education and/or employment as a mental health practitioner, a physical therapist, a medical doctor, chiropractor, a personal trainer, yoga instructor, group fitness instructor or other fitness professional.
