Meteor Atlanta - August Meetup

Details
We're kicking off August with some interesting topics.
• Discussing Meteor Roadmap - esp. new Packaging System in v0.9
• Presentation on - "Algos, a database of language-specific algorithm implementations, of the user, by the user, and for the user."
Algos was conceived out of the frustration of an incorrect JavaScript implementation of the Ramer-Douglas-Peucker algorithm. Algos seeks to serve as the de facto reference for algorithm knowledge, including a collection of language-specific code for each algorithm. Algos is almost entirely user-centric, employing democratic submission, approval, denial, removal, and user-recognition processes.
Edward is an intern at CyCore Systems and a student at Georgia State University where he seeks a bachelor's degree in both CS and Philosophy. His interests lie anywhere from Existentialism and Analytic Philosophy to software development and cryptography.
• Open Demo - Invite audience members to share their meteor development.
• Open Topic - Delve into Javascript Context with respect to Meteor, and how popular patterns such as Module, Revealing Module would work.
• Community Project - Discuss extending Meteor Parties example for some Atlanta based fun.
