Presented by Priceline.com - React Workshop

[This is a 1-hour interactive session. You will learn to write elementary React components. Bring your laptop to follow along.]

Learning how to write React code is much like learning to write regular JavaScript. The underlying patterns defined in the React library allow for developers to take full advantage of the advancements made to the JavaScript language over the last few years. This workshop will help you identify the parts of the code that are regular JavaScript and the parts that are special to React.

By understanding the concepts presented in this workshop, learning React will come much simpler. A goal of this workshop is to spend more time looking more closely at how modern JavaScript works. This workshop will not cover all language constructs but will give you a reasonable foundation in the language to help give you tools to help with your continued learning.
