This is the first event in T4Tech's Python + Data Science series hosted by Metis.
You can also watch this event on Livestream:
Python from Scratch will teach the fundamentals of programming in python. Python is an extremely versatile programming language used for running web servers, building applications, data science, scripting, and much, much more.
This course will start at the very beginning and it is designed to make the first steps of learning to program as accessible as possible. It is designed for you if
- you have never written a line of code
- you have some coding experience, but not in python
- you have started learning python but could use more practice with fundamentals
The event will be lead by Sophie Searcy, a Senior Data Scientist and data science bootcamp instructor at Metis. Sophie has spent years working in data science and is passionate about deep learning and data science ethics.
T4Tech provides free and accessible resources for trans and GNC people. All of our events are open to trans people, GNC people, and allies. More information about T4Tech here https://t4tech-nyc.github.io/
