Join Day 2 of Demystifying Data Science, a FREE, Live Online conference by Metis. On July 25 from 7am-2pm PT, watch as 14 speakers explain how date science applies to you, what needs to be done to integrate data science into an organization, and how to achieve this integration. Michael Galvin will host day 2 of the conference. Mike is the Executive Director of Data Science Corporate Training at Metis where he oversees the data science training and product development for all of Metis’s corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies across industries. He went to Metis from General Electric where he worked to establish their data science strategy and capabilities for field services and to build solutions supporting global operations, risk, engineering, sales, and marketing. Prior to GE, Michael spent several years as a data scientist working on problems in credit modeling at Kabbage. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Computational Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, Michael spent 12 years in the United States Marine Corps where he held various leadership roles within aviation, logistics, and training units.
