The rumors that VR and Detroit VR are dead have been greatly exaggerated. We’re still here and we’re both dropping new versions for 2018.

Detroit VR 2.0 will be just like Detroit VR except for better in every way possible. Come join us as we totally ignore the dying VR technology (kidding) and we’ll take a deep dive into all the exciting things happening in AR. We’ll take a look at a bunch of the cool apps available for iOS and Android, we’ll look at a few things coming soon. We’ll go over Google ARCore, Apple ARKit, what’s coming for Vuforia 7 and how to get started with all of these SDKs (software development kits). We’ll try to separate the hype from the realities and we’ll discuss whether our robot overlords will use AR to keep us in line or if they’ll stick with VR. And we’ll do it all in less than 3 hours.

We’ll discuss our plans for the future and we’re looking for you to help us make that future. If you have a cool app or technology to share, now is the time to get involved. If you want to present on anything VR/AR related or would like to give a tutorial, let us know and we’ll get you involved.
