At MREIA we are serious about real estate investing. We are the oldest real estate investing association in New Jersey, dating back to 1982. We are also NJ’s largest non-profit volunteer run association, as well as a charter member of the National Real Estate Investors Association (NAREIA).
Networking among our members is the heart and soul of MREIA. Many of our members have been with us for 20-30 years and are happy to assist newcomers to the wonderful world of real estate investing in reaching their goals and aspirations.

Our monthly meetings are full of real world, nuts and bolts up to date information that you need to succeed. We Do NOT recommend expensive overpriced “boot camps” and mentoring programs that cost thousands of dollars.

Our annual membership is only $199.00 which includes our monthly meetings from January through November, incredible benefits such as the Home Depot Discount Program, discounts from local and national businesses and our monthly newsletter, “The Metro.”

    Meet our panelists:

    Mike Bonadies

    • Mike Bonadies is the owner of TerraVestra Property Management and is a real estate investor with a strong focus on rental ownership and active investing. He currently owns and manages a portfolio of 30 residential units across South Jersey and continues to flip several properties each year, giving him firsthand insight into both long-term and short-term investment strategies. Before entering real estate full time, Mike worked as a commercialization manager for DeWalt power tools, bringing a corporate operations and product-launch background to his investing approach. In addition to his real estate activities, he owns and operates a sheep farm in Vineland, New Jersey. Mike frequently shares practical insights on property management, including evaluating whether self-management or third-party management is the right fit for individual investors.

    Tom Dagney

    • Tom Dagney is the current Executive Director of SJREIA and a seasoned real estate investor with more than 25 years of hands-on experience. A long-time part-time investor, Tom’s background spans residential landlording – both annual and seasonal rentals – land development, and extensive rehabbing and house flipping projects throughout Camden, Burlington, and Cape May counties in New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia County in Pennsylvania. His recent and ongoing projects include new center-city townhouse construction, development of student residential rental properties, and the acquisition and rehabilitation of distressed properties to expand his rental portfolio. Tom brings a practical, experience-driven perspective to real estate investing and leadership skills.

    Rocky Hine

    • Rocky founded Small & Mighty Property Management because she saw the same problem in the market: small property owners getting ignored by property management companies. The 6-unit building in Hamilton Park got treated as an afterthought. The 4-unit in The Heights never got a returned phone call. Small & Mighty Property Management exists to offer a more attentive approach. Every property gets a dedicated manager. Every owner gets direct access. Every question gets an answer – often the same day. Based in Jersey City, Rocky knows the neighborhoods, the building stock, the vendors, and the regulations that shape residential property management in Northern New Jersey. That local perspective allows Small & Mighty Property Management to provide thoughtful, responsive service rooted in the counties it serves.

    Options are one of the most profitable, flexible, low cost and least risky ways of investing in real estate.

    What makes Options particularly enticing is you can make profitable deals as either the person getting the option or giving the option.

    Incidentally, Options are the favorite way that Warren Buffet, Donald Trump, John Schaub, Pete Fortunato, Bill Cook and Hovnanian Builders structure their investments.
