The robins are back, and that means it’s time for the Spring Eco-Tours of Edison. The first one is this Sunday March 6 at Thomas Edison County Park. 10:00am-12:00pm
Meet: In the parking lot by the tennis courts. New paved paths. Good season starter walk.
Park is off of Mill Rd. in Edison behind Middlesex County College.
Thomas Edison County Park is Middlesex County’s Sports Park. It has tennis, baseball, soft ball, soccer, track and field. It has a good system of paths which have been just repaved. Mostly flat and open a good place to start our hiking season. The park was part of the Raritan Arsenal, and twice in the 1920’s ammunition exploded in what is now the park. This is a County Park, and there are restrooms available.
