Pitch Your Niche!
Details
Everyone should pick three niches and come up with three pitches so you are ready to speak the language of an ideal client when you happen to meet them.
After we pitch, we will all give one minute to give some instant feedback and suggestions for improvement.
If you are in a highly competitive industry like makeup, financial planning, realtor, or coach you might want to "create" a unique name for a common product to stand out.
Example: I offer Protected Gift Accounts to pass inheritance on to the next generation tax free. That sounds better than a trust.
Networking before and after the meeting.
If anyone wants to give a speech, please text Matthew at 3057414284.

Please email Matt if you want to practice a 5-7 minute speech or just break the ice with a personal introduction.

Become a founding charter member (First 20 to pay dues) of a new Toastmasters Club in West Kendall!
Hi, I'm Matt Hoelscher, Distinguished Toastmaster and business owner in West Kendall. I first joined Toastmasters in 2000 and have been a member of numerous clubs over that time frame. After two years, I'm ready to start the program again and hope that you will join me for lunch to learn about the program until we get our 20 founding charter members to kick off a new club!
Until we charter, I will be hosting bi-weekly meetups over lunch at a local coffee shop to teach you the art of Speechcraft for FREE!
The Toastmasters program offers so many benefits ... overcome the fear of speaking in front of a group, perfect your presentations, learn to listen effectively, learn to evaluate and coach others, learn to speak concisely and cut out filler words, gain confidence, uncover and develop your talents, become a stronger, more confident leader, gain interviewing skills, advance your career, hone your skills of persuasion, learn to use nonverbal communication, make friends, mentor and help others grow.
At Toastmasters we improve our speaking and leadership skills while having fun in a no-pressure atmosphere. There is no teacher, just a structured environment where members evaluate one another's presentations and give feedback.
Meeting participants also develop impromptu speaking skills by giving 1-2 minute talks on our table topics. We develop other communication, thinking, and leadership skills through conducting meetings, listening, evaluating, facilitating, timekeeping, and coaching.
Members complete a series of 10 self-paced speaking assignments from the Competent Communicator manual, designed to teach the basics of public speaking.
Members also learn leadership skills by taking on various meeting roles and working through our Competent Leadership manual. There are no classes or lectures about leadership, we give each member the opportunity to lead, and offer mentoring to help.
Please note that RSVP's in this group do not reflect the actual number attending, since many of our members are not on Meetup.
