Whether you are a seasoned Bitcoin enthusiast, or just curious about the buzz, consider yourself on the leading edge of a global technological and commercial paradigm shift.
Our events fall into three categories: Bitcoin Knowledge, Bitcoin Networking, and Bitcoin Knowledge: Developer Session.
Bitcoin Knowledge events are technical presentations about Bitcoin, with the opportunity to meet and network with fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts afterward. The presentations are technical in nature, and cover a lot of details, but all knowledge levels can follow along and participants are encouraged to later search for and review information online to help fill in gaps in their understanding of any of the topics covered during an event.
Bitcoin Networking events are casual networking events, with the opportunity to meet, chat, and network with fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts. There is no presentation portion during a Bitcoin Networking event. Watch out for events in the Bitcoin Knowledge series if you would prefer a presentation format. Bitcoin Networking events are an entirely networking based format.
Bitcoin Knowledge: Developer Session events are technical events for software programmers to learn more about the truly technical details of Bitcoin and surrounding technology. Discussion includes selected content, as well as open discussion about anything in the space. Discussion gets highly technical. Attendees should have at least minimal programming knowledge and be able to create simple applications.
Events are typically hosted on the second and last Wednesday of each month. We adhere to a non-advertising and non-monetization policy, and all events are completely free to attend. Come out, meet and network with fellow enthusiasts, and most importantly, learn about this fundamentally groundbreaking technology.
