# Volunteer Opportunity!

Spirit of Japan is a 3-day event focused mainly on anime, manga, cosplay and the like, but also offering traditional Japanese cultural activities and food.
When: Thu Aug 15 (setup), Fri Aug 16-18 (event) -- you can do just one day
Where: Miami Beach Convention Center

The event is looking for volunteers! Most exciting, in my opinion, is serving as an interpreter – this is a great way to test and improve your language skills! Even if you are not big on anime, this could be a good way to network with others interested in Japan / Japanese culture, and also spread the word about our Meetup!

Put down “Miami Japanese Language Meetup” when they ask for Company/Organization so that they can treat us as a block and offer good roles!
