Nicolas A Perez will be talking about Reactive Streams, specially how to build them using Akka (Streams) and Kafka.

Main Topics

Apache Kafka is the leading distributed messaging system on the JVM. It offers high performance capabilities while exposing a simplistic API. On the other hand, Reactive Streams is an emerging standard for asynchronous stream processing and Apache Kafka is being used for creating data pipelines with incredible big amount of data. There is no "dormant" data any more, nowadays everything is a constant flow and we need to adapt to it!
