Please keep your RSVP up to date, free spots are always in demand! We will meet at 6:30pm at the Salesforce Offices with drinks and sandwiches. The event is hosted by and centered around MuleSoft. The talks starts at 7pm and will be in English Ulrich Staack: The Center for Enablement Approach Andreas Grimm: Implementing Microservices using Api-led Architecture, including a demonstration of this approach on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform After the talk we have time for drinks and conversations. Abstracts The Center for Enablement Approach Introducing new technology enterprise wide requires a well tuned approach to achieve a high degree of standardization and governance while avoiding the typical pitfalls of a centralized model like a Center of Excellence. A Center for Enablement (C4E) focuses on the enablement of departments outside the Central IT to work independently and at the same time ensuring control by technical means. Implementing Microservices using Api-led Architecture The “API-led” architecture approach for the implementation of an integration layer stands out by its use case specific stepwise approach and the focus on reusability. In this talk we try to answer the question about how Microservices are embedded into a typical “API-led” design. Demonstration of the API-led approach on the Anypoint Platform During this life demonstration we lead the audience through the steps from the design idea for an integration touch point, capturing the specification using the RAML notation, mocking of the API, modelling of the process, data mapping to the deployment of a productive API. The demonstration will be performed using the MuleSoft Anypoint Cloud platform. Bios Ulrich is a Engagement Manager based out of MuleSoft's Munich office with over 20 years of IT industry experience.
