Hi everyone,

We are glad to present our first meetup in 2018 which will take place at Push Doctor offices near Parsonage Gardens on the 11th of April.

We will have talks on organizational patterns for microservices development and the story of how a global travel booking monolith was tranformed into microservices.

Itinerary would be as follows (exact timing may vary)
19:00 - Networking with some food and drinks
19:30 - First Talk by Tahir Mahmood
19:50 - Second Talk by Matt Elcock
20:10 - Headline Talk by Ronnie Mitra
21:30 - Closing
21:30 - We might head to a nearby pub for drinks afterwards...

Organizational and cultural patterns for effective microservices teams.

Speaker: Ronnie Mitra, https://twitter.com/mitraman
Ronnie Mitra is an expert in enterprise development and integration who leads the CA Technologies API Architecture and Design Practice across Europe. He is also the co-author of Microservices Architecture published by O'Reilly in 2016.

Talk: Microservices from a man who started his career at Microsoft in 1989.
Speaker: Tahir Mahmood
Tahir Mahmood is a seasoned technologist with over 28 years of experience in the field building complex systems around the globe working closely with other tech giants such as Apple and AWS who participates in the fashion industry as an actual creative (a qualified professional Fashion Stylist and Makeup Artist).

Night will commence with some food and drinks provided by our sponsors Equal Experts and Push Doctor; followed by ~90 minutes of talks by Ronnie and Tahir.
