Introduction to Linux Containers and Docker
In this hands-on session we will explore Linux Containers and get started with Docker.
Bring your Linux, Windows or Mac computer and get started with containerized applications.
Then, we will look at options for deploying and orchestrating your applications in Azure using Kubernetes, DC/OS and Swarm and Azure Container Service.
Join us for a 90-minutes workshop in learning what containers are, how they work and how to package, build and deploy containerized applications. To learn more about containers, make sure to check the Docker Documentation .

IMPORTANT: This will be an introductory-level session (with demos) for the mentioned topics. Students with no prior experience with these technologies are the primary intended audience. If you are not a student and/or have more hands-on experience with these technologies, you may still attend this session - although the content already be already familiar to you.
