🟣 .NET Build Performance: Principles and Tips with Jan Provaznik (Microsoft)
Build speed matters - slow builds waste time and block productivity. Jan will share strategies for analyzing your build to identify common bottlenecks and pitfalls using MSBuild binary logs and show simple optimizations that are not part of the default experience.
🟢 On-Demand Log Emission with Log Buffering in .NET with Evgenii Fedorov (Microsoft)
Discover how .NET’s new Log Buffering feature helps you control log verbosity at runtime. Instead of flooding your system with noisy logs, you can buffer and emit detailed logs only when issues occur and discarding them when everything runs smoothly. Evgenii will demonstrate how this approach reduces noise, improves observability, and cuts log storage costs.
🔵 File-Based Apps in .NET 10 with Jan Jones (Microsoft)
.NET 10 introduces first-class support for file-based apps - making it easier than ever to build, run, and ship simple .NET applications without full project scaffolding. This talk will explore how 'dotnet run file.cs' works under the hood, what scenarios it unlocks, and why file-based development is becoming an increasingly powerful pattern in the .NET ecosystem.
