Attendees will be introduced to the main concepts and techniques used in modern artificial neural networks.
The workshop is divided in 3 self-contained modules covering common use cases and tools:

1. Image processing
2. Natural language processing
3. Microsoft Azure Machine Learning tools and services
   The modules can be taken in any order.

Pre-requisites:

• Familiarity with calculus and linear algebra is beneficial to understand the algorithms. A quick primer will be provided in module 1.
• Familiarity with Python is required to understand the code being shared. You will be provided with examples to run through.
• The code will run entirely on Azure, so you will need a laptop and access to an Azure subscription.
• If possible, make sure that you have quota to deploy at least 1 GPU-enabled machine on your subscription (NC6 class or better).
• The code will run on CPUs as well, just slowly.
