Cloud monitoring allows you to keep track of your cloud infrastructure’s health. It allows you to quickly identify unusual changes and allow you to make thoughtful and prompt decisions, when needed. Join Peter De Tender, Azure Technical Trainer and Rodanthi Alexiou, Microsoft Student Ambassador, as they explore the main argument in favor of continual and consistent monitoring and oversight of cloud-based systems. The Session will discuss and demonstrate different quantitative measurements you should be using when tracking, reviewing and implementing. monitoring platforms. The session will deep dive into the metrics that are important as you set your application up. You will leave this session with a greater understanding of the importance of cloud monitoring and ways to implement it.

Give me an audience, I give them Azure knowledge Peter is a +20 year IT expert, with a background in Microsoft datacenter technologies. Since early 2012, Peter started shifting to cloud technologies (Office 365, Intune), and quickly jumped onto the Azure platform, working as cloud solution architect and trainer. Mid 2019, Peter took on a position as Azure Technical Trainer within Microsoft Corp, providing Azure Readiness Workshops to larger customers and partners within the EMEA Region and global, with a focus on Azure DevOps, Apps and Infra and SAP workloads. Peter was an Azure MVP for 5 years, is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for +12 years and still actively involved in the community as public speaker, technical writer, book author and publisher. Rodanthi Maria Alexiou, Microsoft Student Ambassador
Rodanthi is an Undergraduate Computer Science Student in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a great passion for Web and App development, AI, Machine Learning, writing and history. Always interested in being involved in tech projects and learning something new, she is a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, a General Organizer in Google’s Developer’s Student Club and an Associate in the Operations Team in Mindspace NPO, while writing monthly articles in her blog and not only. You’ll find her reading studies about the sociopolitical aspects of technology and how we can eliminate bias in Machine Learning projects.
