For those of you new to MAREA home tours, welcome! This is a self-guided tour, and can be a great day out with friends and family. Participating hosts open their homes to showcase their solar installations, energy efficiency measures and other sustainable features so that others may see and learn from their experience.

MAREA provides detailed descriptions and directions for all participating homes. You are welcome to drop by any home on the list between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, no RSVP necessary and no charge!

This year’s tour will include homes with solar installations, as well as energy efficiency upgrades, rainwater recycling, electric vehicles, water pumping/irrigation and other sustainable living features. It’s a fun day out, and special opportunity to see for yourself and talk with others about their firsthand experiences.

MAREA is also announcing release of the 2018 Pennsylvania Solar Installers Guide, an essential reference for those looking to go solar. It is available on the MAREA website as a free download.
