Indian at the Fork In The Road
Bombay Mahal Cuisine, 2010 W Saginaw Street, Lansing, MI, USBombay Mahal - on the west side of town at the quintessential "fork in the road" where saginaw splits into Saginaw and Oakland - doesn't get as much love as it should. Let's change that together, if only for one night.
This place is solid. The Lamb Vinadaloo was yummy! And in addition to veggie samosas, they also have *chicken* samosas, which had never seen. Prices are fair and food is hot, quick, and good. Their menu (and website) is here.

The Worst Burger - April Fools!
Crown Grill, 902 E CESAR E CHAVEZ AVE, LANSING, MI, USI had driven past this place countless times without stopping. One of those off-the-radar places. And the place looks a little rough around the edges. But I had also read the reviews and seen the pictures of their juicy burgers. So yesterday I went with some former students to the Crown Grill for a few double-cheeseburgers with grilled onions. And man, was I happy. So yummy. Great fries too! If you are not a burger person or lean vegetarian, the menu also features grilled/fried chicken & fish, wraps, shawarma, falafel, salads, and smoothies.
