This group is dedicated to fun, friendly Midwesterners who now live in New England. Come and meet local ex-Midwesterners and relive great memories about the wholesome charm of middle America. This group is open to anyone who is from/or has lived in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. My other home states included Colorado, Alabama and Washington DC. You are welcome as well. Also expatriates are welcome since I lived outside the U.S. several times. Also - I just started a group for Westerners .... please tell your friends and colleagues. http://www.meetup.com/Westerners/ Bottom line - this group is for friendly people who want to meet other friendly people. It's primary purpose in social, having fun, and meeting other like-minded folks. If you end up getting a business lead, job, date, whatever, that's fine. Just appreciate this is relaxed and easy going group. If you're from Boston but attended university in the Midwest, you are more than welcome! My motto is: Conversations first, business cards later! Look forward to seeing you soon! Best, Diane Darling
What could be a better Ex-Midwest event then watching Monday Night Football between two midwest rival teams fighting for the division crown and are good (Bears vs. Lions)!
Please join me on Monday October 10th at 8:00 at Blue 22 which is an excellent place to watch Football!! Its centrally located in downtown Quincy right in front of Quincy Center T stop just a 5 minute or less walk. The place also has plenty on nearby street parking which is free if you choose to drive. Also the menu is very good, I watch football there all the time and eat there. They have 10 big TV's along with state of the art sound system!!
I know its Monday night and we all have to work the next morning, but who cares its Monday Night Football between two midwest arch rivals, so please join me! Again Blue 22 located at 1237 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA[masked]
