What we're about

This is a group for bioinformaticians, computational biologists, biostatisticians and "infobiologists", working in the broad sector of life sciences and interested in current and future developments and applications of bioinformatics. We embrace openness and knowledge sharing in an informal environment, away from individual institutional constraints.

We want to discuss methods and case studies, brainstorm around what we want to understand better, learn from each other and learn to better communicate with our fellow biologists and clinicians.

Everyone is surely able to make at least one thing well. We ask you not to be shy and share that one thing with peers: we all will gain a wider view on where bioinformatics is going.

So come join us, open your perspectives and build value around our loosely defined role of "biomedical data analyst"!
