Extreme Mocking — w/ Mattia "Raibaz" Tommasone

For our December’s event we're still on the testing track, focused on mocking techniques, proud to announce our guest speaker Mattia Tommasone (raibaz.it). Mattia is a Software Engineer with a strong background working at scale, spread across companies like Google and eBay (but not only).

What's the talk about?
Testing is one of the core XP practices, and mocking is one of the most useful tools to be used when testing software. However, there are several ways to do mocking wrong, and several ways to get the best out of it. This talk will show the whys and the hows of mocking.

If I participate, what do I learn?
What is mocking, when and how to use it and when and how not to, and some common pitfalls you may run into when mocking your software components.

When?
We're going to meet at 19.00 for some networking.
The session starts at 19.30 sharp. Closing is around 21.00.

Is it in English?
Eventually, yes. We'll be happy to switch in English if any non-italian friend would like to come. Don't worry, join us :)

What should I do in order to join?
The event is free, but registration is mandatory as our meeting room has limited seats. Do it now by clicking "Yes" near the "RSVP" form at the event's page, a confirmation message will follow up. Once all available spots are taken, a waiting list will appear.
