What we're about

Vision begins at Mile Zero. Help plan and establish a national recreation trail and a conservancy to maintain it, as well as related travel, hiking and cycling events, trail infrastructure, youth camps, markets, mini festivals, food demonstrations, talks, live music, arts and education programs, tree and garden campaigns, conferences, social gatherings, and more. All types of interests and professions are needed to accomplish this visionary effort as we approach the 100 year anniversary of Benton MacKaye's concept for the Appalachian Trail.
