Together we will explore and practice mindfulness. Mindfulness requires our intention, attention and attitude. This will be a secular group open to anyone wanting to be more present in their daily life. The benefits of mindfulness have been shown to improve emotional regulation, decrease stress and increase focus. We will follow the format of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with short sits of 15 to 20 minutes depending on the needs/wants of the group. If you have tried to meditate and have found it frustrating this group might be for you. I hope you can join me in this practice.
