About us
The Milwaukee Psychedelic Society would like to welcome you to attend our monthly meeting. We are a growing community, interested in bringing the latest information coming out of the academic environment to a group based forum. We would like to foster an open and honest discussion about responsible use, education, legalization, community outreach, and finally, a space where our common experiences can be discussed without retribution.
Our group is open to all, to participate or just listen.
There is a common thread running through the psychedelic community of seeking the truth in all facets of life, our aim is to explore those truths and the many paths that lead there while building a community.
The Milwaukee Psychedelic Society is a drug free zone. We don’t allow the use of controlled substances during our meetings and we expect that the people who attend our meetings won’t be carrying, using, or attempting to acquire or distribute them. We want this community and open discussion posts to continue which means the solicitation of controlled substances on this page will be immediately deleted and potentially reported as these posts could get our group page shut down by Meetup.

Join us this Thursdays (July 16, 6-8pm) at Love Cafe (3801 N Oakland Ave, Shorewood, WI 53211) for an educational workshop focused on:
- Creating a Sacred Container
- Supporting Crisis & Regulation
- Integration & Meaning Making
- Unintentional Harm
- Subtle Energetics
This educational workshop provides a framework to support a friend or loved one before, during and after a psychedelic experience. We will explore subtle energetics, supporting others during crisis, and somatic regulation techniques. Intention setting, creating the space, integration & meaning making process.
Psychedelic medicines can be personally and spiritually transforming. They can support the clearing and metabolization of old nervous system signals of unsafety. This workshop touches on foundational skills in supporting someone when these imprints come up. We also explore ways unintentional harm can be created in supporting others throughout these experiences.
This workshop is offered on a sliding scale for broad accessibility. Please honor the value of what is provided by donating accordingly & sincerely.
Tyler Derouin has supported over 1600 individuals through psychedelic medicine journeys, and hundreds more in integration. He has extensively studied and apprenticed with indigenous and earth based lineages, as well as a number of trauma informed & somatic modalities.
