Guided Meditation for Everyone: Mindfulness and Philosophy (1 year anniversary)

Details
Hello, everyone:
This free event will help you pick up the skills of meditation by avoiding the pitfalls. This event is for everyone who is interested in practising mindfulness to deal with the issues in life (though such an expectation should not be held): if you are a newbie, you will learn the meditation techniques; if you are an adept meditator, just join me and do the meditation together.
In this event, I will share with you the meditation techniques and common pitfalls; share some philosophical thoughts and multiple perspectives on mindfulness hopefully from which you can get some inspiration. I will cover the topics mainly via Buddhist philosophy (Zen) and neurophilosophy without abstruse terms. Most importantly, we will do the guided meditation together to experience it to find the subjective knowledge relevant to ourselves. The only way to understand mindfulness is to experience it, practice it.
Mindfulness is not a belief or religion per se, but how to relate you to your beliefs. Via mindfulness, you will be your own spiritual teacher and you will help yourself find the best solution to your own issues.
This event lasts 1-2 hours, but a relaxing chat after is possible if you want to stay.
Schedule (subject to change depending on the attendance)
- Beginning.
- Meditation basics, for any beginners attending the session or as a warm-up discussion. It is always good to revise our technique in such a discussion.
- Guided Meditation 1
- A keynote speech followed/interspersed by Q&A and light-hearted chat, discussion. It aims for an open communication where everyone could feel free to express and sincerely converse.
- Guided Meditation 2 to end the session (everyone leaves with peace and calm).
The event maintains the openness at the greatest level. All the resources used in the session can be found via https://events.mindiver.se/resource/ (We are trying our best to keep it regularly updated)
Who is the speaker in the session?
The speaker is Chao (Cico) Zhang, a researcher, a mathematician and thinker focusing on human minds, neurophilosophy, artificial intelligence and biology. Mindfulness (Buddhist philosophy) is vital to his philosophy, and he wants mindfulness to benefit more people. He and his wife Joyce have recently started Mindiverse, an initiative to share the wisdom across eastern and western world via mindfulness.
If you are eager to know more about him, check out his homepage https://hi-it.org
More information about his thoughts on mindfulness can be found from https://mindful.mindiver.se

The event is spread via different channels, here is only of them; some people join in via Facebook event, so the actual number of the attendees may differ from the number shown here.
Attention: I may record the mindfulness session using an audio recorder via a lavalier microphone, which means that only my voice can be recorded. The mindfulness session is an open discussion for philosophy and our mind and there is no privacy involved in this event. The audio will be transcribed into texts, so more people could benefit from the content.
