What we're about
This is an hour of invigorating movement. We won't do anything extreme, but it can still be physically challenging. We include mobility exercises, core work, balance exercises, and strength training. The hour also includes some medium impact exercises for bone health. We give attention to the details of how our body moves. If you would like to be stronger, but you aren't sure where to start, this is a perfect class for you.
Athleticism is not a requirement for the class, but in order to participate you should be able to get up and down from the floor without difficulty.
The class is held at Somaspace, which is a welcoming, peaceful oasis in Hollywood. The streets around Somaspace are a bit complicated, so the first time you come, we recommend allowing ten minutes to learn how to navigate the area.
Please arrive on time, because if we start late, then we run into a conflict with the class that comes in after us, and your dear instructor gets in trouble.
