Dear Members of Mindfulness Network for People of all Colours
What we are offering:
1. One of the features of MNPC is a digital library – a collection of free audio and video mindfulness and guided meditation sessions - in particular for issues relating to the BAME experience. We are featuring Ruth King, Rhonda Magee, Rob Owens and others.
2. Putney 'Open House' Breathworks meditation group- This is a group in particular to attract people of colour and will begin October 2019, We hold 2 open house events this year featuring 'Breathworks' mindfulness, Nov 30th. Breathwork is a model specific to dealing with pain injury and recovery from illness. We will be holding an 8 week course in Putney from January.
3. We offer a People of Colour retreat every year. Our next 3 day weekend will be 'Empowerment weekend', June 26-29 2020 in the New Forest, with Rhonda Magee - who is a proclaimed international law professor and publishedauthor, 'Race & Social Justice' at the University of San Francisco.

Meet the team
William, Dean, Ester, Elizabeth, Antonete & Tim.
William Fley is a mixed race clinician working with adults, community members, and co-workers to help them adapt in the face of physical, emotional, organizational and social challenges. He is a fully accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and accredited by Breathworks (mindfulness).
Working with community organizations in marginalized communities to bring awareness through education and community events, William continues with his passion to eliminate cultural barriers to accessing services, by being culturally aware and responsive. Often we are witnesses to encountering the challenges of broken systems or systemic oppression in our own professional and personal lives, and we need spaces to heal and process this.
