Integrating Performance Across the DevOps Lifecycle - MoTATL May 2018 Meetup

Topic: Integrating Performance Across the DevOps Lifecycle

The world of DevOps moves fast and has a substantial impact on application development. Performance issues have a great impact on the quality, cost, and customer confidence thus making it necessary to ingrain performance processes throughout the development lifecycle. Partnering your operations and development teams with effective performance processes from an early stage means quality remains a priority throughout the development lifecycle. A “test early and often” approach improves your chances of releasing an application on time and on budget and meeting your customer’s performance and quality expectations. Successful performance within DevOps relies on the use of proper processes, performance tools and solutions, and a team who understands how to get you where you need to go. In this talk, we will share tips on how to incorporate performance testing techniques and tools within your organization to ensure performance is addressed early and often in DevOps, instead of the typical afterthought.
