Agile & Testing - Lessons I Have Learned

Details

In this talk, Vincent Dirks will give an overview of the values from the Agile Manifesto and share three lessons that he has learned as an agile tester:

  1. When fast is too fast.

  2. How to spend less time regression testing.

  3. How to work without formal requirements and acceptance criteria.

There will also be a discussion and a chance for you to share your experiences with Agile testing.

About Vincent:
Vincent is a Test Engineer at Fiserv and has worked in a variety of environments including TradeMe.

He has been testing for over 6 years, facilitated workshops, held presentations, and experienced the benefits of working in an Agile environment first hand.

He's drawn to the Context Driven Testing school of testing, and is a strong advocate of Agile methodologies.

Vincent is a strong believer in community and looks forward to sharing his stories and lessons experienced in testing.
