This is a collaboration event with the “Unconference AIGX” Meetup Group who meet in Gerrard’s Cross

Purpose: Learn, connect, share and build community

If AI was something easy to define, test and came with result explainability out of the box then perhaps as testers we might all be out of work. There are unique challenges to systems that incorporate AI algorithms. This event is not a deep dive into AI but a forum for the exchange of ideas that will ask you to participate in an informal way. Your views, ideas and experiences matter and we ask you therefore to come along to test them out. (Pun intended)

We will begin by looking at some of the basics and we will throw back at you some of the challenges that AI creates. Please feel free to interrupt and to ask questions or provide views. We learn by telling stories and sharing experiences, what you have seen before might be vital to the flow of the conversation and ideas.

Here is something to think about before you come to the event and we will ask you the question on the night.
• Imagine that you are being cared for by a super intelligent robot called Eddie
• Overnight Eddie has had an upgrade from version 1.8 to version 1.8001a, in exactly the same way that your iPhone or Tesla might receive an update
• When you wake up in the morning how do you know that you are still being cared for by “Eddie”?

Paul (@i_paul) is an independent futurist with interests in neuroscience, tech, AI in particular and how tech can impact us and society in general. He gets a buzz when participants give each other permission to take discussions and events to another level.
