MoT Glasgow February - Sharing Test Experience & Building a Tester Skillset

This meetup will consist of two guided conversation sessions based on topics crowdsourced by attendees at January's meetup.

Guided Conversation sessions are primarily attendee-led. A moderator will pose a question, and the attendees then discuss for a few minutes. The moderator may curtail some conversation only in order to pose new questions, but the content is provided by you.
Please listen and absorb what is being said and add to the conversation, rather than simply waiting for your turn to speak.

The first session will be around Sharing Test Experience. This session aims to learn from the experiences of the attendees around how they determine what company to join, what work they choose to do, and how they choose it, and in generally to discover the breadth and depth of work experience in testing of the attendees. It's sometimes hard to appreciate what sort of roles there are out there until you hear what others are doing.

The second session will be around Building a Tester Skillset. Following on from the talk in January about building a personal skillset, this session aims to learn what and how others learn the skills they need. We'll hopefully uncover what goals people have for themselves, and the breadth of skills people have acquired in support of reaching those goals.
