April #MidsTest features Ioana Porcarasu, who will be returning to us fo her second time, running an automation workshop.

About the Talk:
The workshop will be "Postman & Newman & Jenkins - 3 amigos for automated API testing in your pipeline" .
Rough agenda:
1. Postman - Write tests that anyone can use
2. Newman - Run your postman tests from anywhere
3. Jenkins - Make those tests visible to everyone

Takeaways from the workshop:
We'll setup a basic environment to enable you to create and run data driven API tests

If you want to be hands-on during our workshop, you will need:
a laptop - macOS or Windows should do; Linux as well but I will be able to support only minimally with any installation errors)
Postman Native App
* the installation is very straight forward: https://learning.getpostman.com/docs/postman/launching_postman/installation_and_updates/
Newman CLI
* same, installation very easy: https://github.com/postmanlabs/newman#getting-started
* to check if installed correctly, run 'newman -v' in a terminal

If you want to see what we can do with these tools without bringing your laptop or installing the tools, it's totally fine! We will be grouped anyway and you will have the opportunity to pair with someone :)

After the talk there is the opportunity for all attendees to take part in 99 Second Talks, where they can use the time to trial a presentation they plan to give, ask for help to the community, share something they are passionate about, virtually anything they can think of.
