Astrology: Why are you playing with it,
And why (the hell) is it still so taboo?

At this meetup, we'll be diving into some big-picture questions about the "Why"s of astrology in our modern world (and you won't need to bring any shillings to participate).

You don't need to look too far to notice that many creatures get their undies in a bunch about the "How"s of our esoteric art and its proper applications, but maybe we can fertilize a breakthrough or two by exploring some wider angles of this sacred science together.

Why is astrology still looked at as B.S. by so many intelligent people? (Are Sun sign columns the whole problem?)

Why are you so interested in astrology? What practitioner/author/experience whetted your appetite for more?

Where does this art/science fit in our modern world?
What applications of it might help modern humanity to thrive?
