Kubernetes For Mere Mortals
Are you interested in learning how to build microservices and leverage all its great benefits in terms of scaling, reusability, and efficiency while reducing the deployment, management and operations overhead? In this session led by Microsoft Global Open Source Architect, Dave Strebel, we will look at how easy it is to build scalable and resilient microservices on containers using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). We will get hands-on with AKS and walk you through the cool features the service has to offer as well as look at the wide variety of tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem. "Each month we bring in a speaker to present on various topics around Azure. The meetings are typically at the Microsoft office in Edina MN. The duration of the meeting is: 4:00PM-5:15PM with the speaker typically starting at 4:10 to 4:15PM. We provide free food and drink at every meeting.
